Introverts...

And this turns out to have a special power all it's own because people could feel these leaders were at the helm not because they enjoyed directing others and not because not out of the pleasure of being looked at. They were there because they had no choice because they were driven to do what they thought was right."

Tears and chills-oh boy! Eleanor Roosevelt in all that she did and all she went through and all she had to overcome being in the public eye. By the way-talk about someone advocating for education and a strong woman role model!

Rosa Parks! Gandhi! Can you imagine a world without these people!?

  2. INTROVERTS <3 I am so happy you posted this video. I only recently (within the past year) have tapped into my "introverted-ness". It is really important for others to know there is nothing wrong with wanting to be alone. I love how the speaker says that there is no clear cut introvert or extrovert. Everyone falls somewhere on the scale. You can be an introvert and still have extroverted tendencies. This reminded me of the scales you made for sex/gender when we were discussing August and LGBTQ issues.

  3. Loved this TED Talk. I actually own the book "How to win friends and influence people" and never read it because I am mostly an introvert. I don't really want to be pushed into more over thinking of social situations then I already have. I love how it was pointed out there are different levels and no one person is strictly introvert or extrovert.

    Thank you for posting,
    Shanelle
